The people behind the PROJECT
At the heart of our project is a dedicated team of individuals committed to empowering communities and preserving cultural heritage. Our diverse team brings together expertise in education, entrepreneurship, and social work, all united by a common goal: to create meaningful impact through skill development and community engagement. We are proud to work alongside local artisans, educators, and community leaders who share our vision for a brighter, more inclusive future.
The partnership comprises two non-governmental organizations from Italy—AMAL FOR EDUCATION, the Coordinator and ITALIAHELLO —and AMAL İNSANİ YARDIM DERNEĞİ (AİYD) in Turkey, with branches in Gaziantep and Kilis. These organizations have joined forces to empower adult migrants in regions where coexistence and social cohesion are crucial, such as Rome and Kilis, on the Turkish Syrian border. Focused on education and migrant empowerment, particularly for refugees, each organization brings specific expertise and access to target beneficiaries. The collaboration aims to support adult migrants, especially women, through craft workshops and empowerment training, fostering inclusion and peaceful coexistence.
